Annual events included:

  • The Pitch: NYU students pitch their proposals for a TEDxNYU talk. If chosen, they would present their TedTalk at our conference.

  • Adulting 101: An event that takes place during Welcome Week for incoming students. Topics ranged from adapting to student life, adjusting to a new city, monitoring mental health, and managing expenses.

Connecting Founders

A Cloud of Color

As a project manager for the annual charity run for Operation Smile, from 2012-2016 I was in-charge of organizing student volunteers from 10 different international schools in addition to leading fundraising events at the International School of Bangkok's campus.

During the four years of operating, Colour Miles for Smiles grew from 400 to 2,000 participants and helped raise over €155,000 for 600 reconstructive surgeries.

As project manager for this event, I was responsible for:

  • Managing a team of over 100 student volunteers across six international schools

  • Recruiting sponsors such as Bangkok Post, Canon, and Krispy Kreme

  • Procuring event locations Lumpini Park and Impact Arena (depending on year)

  • Organising colouring stations at each kilometer milestone

  • Assisting in pre-production, setting up shoot dates for promotion content

  • Distributing promotion content to the press and public transportation services

  • MCing the event, directing people to the starting line and announcing prize winners, sponsors and DJs
